What this policy covers

This policy covers the personal data you send us through the contact form on fokus.gg or by email to hello@fokus.gg.

We collect no other personal data through the site, and it sets no cookies. To deliver the pages, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address on our behalf. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits without cookies, and we only see totals, such as how many times a page was viewed.

What we collect

Through the contact form: your name, your organization, your role (if you give it), your email address and your message.

By email: your email address, your name if it appears, and whatever you write in your message.

On the contact page, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the form is sent by a person. It processes technical data from your browser, and we pass it your IP address for that check. We don't keep either.

Please don't include sensitive information, such as health data, in your message.

Why we use it

We use your data only to answer your request, to arrange a call and, if your organization decides to work with us, to prepare and carry out that work.

We don't use it to send marketing emails, and we don't use it for automated decisions or profiling.

Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering requests from organizations interested in our services (Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR). You contacted us, so you can reasonably expect us to use your details to reply.

Where you contact us about a possible contract with you, the basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR).

We need the fields marked as required to answer you. Without them, we can't handle your request.

How long we keep it

The website itself stores nothing. Your request arrives as an email in our inbox, and we keep it for as long as we need it to answer you and to manage any work that follows.

After that, we delete it, unless we have to keep it longer to meet a legal obligation or to deal with possible legal claims, and then only for as long as the law requires.

Our service providers may keep technical logs for limited periods, as set out in their data processing terms.

Who processes your data for us

These providers process personal data on our behalf, as data processors, under their data processing terms:

Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the website, receives the form when you send it, runs the Turnstile spam check on the contact page and provides Cloudflare Web Analytics.

Brevo sends the contents of the contact form to our inbox.

SiteGround hosts our email inbox, where your request and any emails you send us are kept.

We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone else unless the law requires us to.

Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Cloudflare is based in the United States and runs a global network, so your data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and also relies on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Brevo and SiteGround are companies based in the European Union.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use and, where it applies, to receive it in a portable format.

To use any of these rights, email hello@fokus.gg. We may ask you to confirm your identity, and we'll reply within one month.

If you think we haven't handled your data properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, AEPD) at www.aepd.es.

Security

The site is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and the form is sent the same way. Only the FOKUS team can read our inbox.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data, we'll update this page.
